Credits and Subscriptions
Understand Veo3 AI plans, credit packs, expiration and rollover, and which Agent actions use credits.
Veo3 AI uses credits for image, video, and audio generation. A subscription supplies credits every month; active subscribers can buy an extra credit pack when needed.
The short version: generation uses credits. Agent chat, planning, asset review, editing, and composition do not use generation credits.
Subscription plans
Mini, Standard, and Plus are available with monthly or annual billing. Annual billing is charged once for the year, while subscription credits are still delivered monthly.

The annual prices work out to $12, $30, and $60 per month. Annual subscribers do not receive a full year of credits on day one; the normal 200, 1,000, or 3,000 credits arrive each month.
Credit packs
Credit packs supplement subscription credits and require an active subscription. Every pack expires one month after purchase. Higher plans receive larger bonuses:

Expiration and rollover
Credits are stored in separate pools with their own expiration dates. Veo3 AI spends the pool that expires soonest first.

Review the expected credit cost and output settings before using a generation control. Confirm, Confirm all, Generate, and Save as variant can submit a task directly without another dialog. Use the displayed node quote for the current price.
You can discuss a direction, request a storyboard, compare alternatives, and estimate the cost before spending credits. Review the expected cost on the prepared generation node. Open Generations to confirm waiting tasks, or use the generation control on a selected node.
Confirm, Confirm all, Generate, and Save as variant can submit generation directly; do not expect another confirmation dialog after clicking. In particular, Save as variant on a completed result creates and generates a new version. Check the displayed quote first. See Refine and Reuse Your Results.
Arranging existing shots, trimming, transitions, subtitles, audio layout, composition, and final rendering do not use generation credits. Regenerating an image, video, or audio item is a new paid generation.
FAQ
Do unused subscription credits roll over?
Not indefinitely. Each batch usually expires about one month after it is issued. Check the exact date under Credit Pools.
Why did an annual subscription not add a full year of credits at once?
Annual billing charges once, but credits are issued monthly in the same amount as the matching monthly plan.
Can I buy a credit pack without a subscription?
No. Credit packs are add-ons for accounts with an active subscription.
Does chatting with Agent or revising a plan use credits?
No. Discussion, planning, review, estimation, editing, and composition do not use generation credits. New image, video, or audio generation does.
What happens if a generation fails?
When the system marks a generation as failed, the credits are returned to their original pool with the original expiration date. Verify the refund in Credit History.
Why does the same kind of generation have different prices?
Model, duration, resolution, sound settings, and output count can change the cost. Use the live price shown on the tool page or Agent generation node.
