Agent Troubleshooting
Find the next step when an Agent plan has no outputs, a node is waiting, a reference is missing, or a generation needs revision.
Start by checking the Canvas and the latest chat response. A written plan, a task waiting for confirmation, and a completed output are different stages of the same project.
Agent wrote a plan, but the Canvas is empty
If you asked for a plan first or said do not generate yet, Agent may explain the shots without adding generation nodes. A written plan does not mean media has been created.
Once the direction is right, ask for the tasks to be added:
The two-shot plan is approved.
Add the reference and both video tasks to the Canvas, ready for generation.
Show the model, duration, resolution, references, and credit cost for each.
Wait for me to use the generation confirmation controls.Review the actual generation controls before submitting. A rough estimate in chat is useful for planning; check the displayed quote before selecting Confirm, Confirm all, Generate, or Save as variant. The button itself can start generation without a separate confirmation dialog.
A node is waiting instead of generating
Read the node's status before trying again.
| What you see | Next step |
|---|---|
| Waiting for you or Ready | Open the task, review its reference, prompt, settings, and cost, then confirm when ready |
| Upstream material pending or Waiting on upstream | Check the earlier image, video, or audio task that this node needs |
| Upstream failed | Resolve the failed earlier task before continuing |
| Inputs incomplete or Input unavailable | Ask Agent to check which reference or earlier output the task needs |
| Generating | Allow the current attempt to finish before requesting another |
If the next step is unclear, name the task in chat:
The second video shot is waiting. Check which earlier task or reference it needs,
and explain what I should do next. Do not create another generation attempt yet.My reference is missing
Check the attachment before sending. If it is still uploading or an upload error appears, finish or retry the upload first. See Add References and Avatars for the attachment menu.
If the message was already sent, attach the file again with a short explanation of its role. For example:
This is the product reference for the plan above.
Use this bottle's shape and label for both shots.
Check the references before generating. For a file that repeatedly fails to upload, confirm it opens on your device and follow the file requirements shown by the interface. See Generation Failure Guide for file and parameter issues.
The result changed the wrong detail
Point to the affected shot or image, describe the mismatch, and protect the parts you want to keep. Change one issue at a time so you can judge whether the next result fixes it.
To identify the target precisely, type @ in chat and select it from Nodes before adding your instruction. See Refer to a specific Canvas node.
In the second shot, reduce the camera motion to a slow push-in.
Keep the product, pink background, lighting, and duration unchanged.
Keep the first shot as it is. Show the revised setup before generation. For exact product text or dialogue, paste the intended wording. For a visual mismatch, include the reference that shows the correct detail. A new image, video, or audio generation uses credits; check the new quote before submitting. On an image or video generation node, Save as variant creates a new version and starts its paid generation directly.
Does the image Edit button redraw the image with AI?
Edit opens the image annotation and crop tools: Rectangle, Circle, Arrow, Pen, Label, Undo, Redo, and Crop. Save saves your annotations and crop as a new image. To request an AI change, explain it in chat or revise a generation prompt and review its cost before running it.
A generation failed
Read the visible error first. If the message asks for a change to the prompt, settings, or reference, make that change before retrying. If it describes a temporary service issue, try again later.
When a task says it is awaiting a recipe change, ask Agent to revise that task's generation setup. Repeatedly submitting the unchanged request is unlikely to resolve it.
Use the Generation Failure Guide for error-specific steps and Credits and Subscriptions for refund handling. Check My Credits / Credit History to verify the recorded charge or refund.
Does Stop cancel a video that is already generating?
Stop ends the current Agent response. A generation already submitted may continue. Check the task's status before starting a replacement; stopping the chat is not a refund confirmation.
Does Confirm all authorize future generations too?
Confirm all applies to the tasks currently offered in the Generations tray. Review that list first. For later requests, check the quote before using their generation controls; a separate confirmation card does not always appear.
Where do I continue an earlier project?
Return to Recent projects or All Projects and open the project. New chat starts another conversation while keeping the existing Canvas nodes and Assets. Open Chat history and select the earlier conversation to return to it. Check the current Canvas before asking Agent to continue a particular shot.
Agent's response stopped or did not arrive
Check whether your last message appears in chat and whether any tasks are already running on the Canvas. If an error says the message was not delivered, use the offered retry action or resend it once the connection is restored. If part of the work is already there, ask Agent to continue from that point.
If the same problem persists, contact support@veo3ai.io with your account email, the project link, approximate time, and a screenshot of the visible error. Include a generation ID if available. See Account Settings for account and support help.
Create a Product Video
Turn a product reference into two short video shots, review their generation settings and results, then assemble a finished video with Smart Edit.
